Final Tango

 The "Toesuckers Final Tango" was a concert held in May 2022 as a final farewell to the college community, also featuring performances from artists "Pierce" and "Spotting Sarah." We gathered extra unneeded toiletries for donation (we had quite a full box since it was the end of the semester.)

The only song I have a recording of is the second rendition of Peter Gunn.

Gone

 "Gone" is easily my favorite song I've ever made, it's some kind of soft rock / R&B fusion that I took a LONG time to make. I originally sketched out the melodies on an acoustic guitar and singing, before taking it to the next level with some of my older studio techniques. I also went through a process of having a bridge on the song before removing it as it did not quite work out. The lyrics were initially about losing innocence / growing up, but I realized it could be interpreted as a break-up or abandonment song as well so leaned into those double meanings. Gracie, my college friend, contributed vocals to the final cut and really adds something special to the piece. Blood Jangle (with Ben Safos)

 "Blood Jangle" written by Jack Williams and Ben Safos I composed this song largely inspired by the music of Half-Life 2 by Kelly Bailey. I always loved the hypnotic vibe of that work mixing electronic and rock. I featured my fellow Avon-Laker and bass player of "Strobe Light Casualties", Ben Safos, who delivers backing vocals and electric guitar. 2023.05.20 release
