Gone

 "Gone" is easily my favorite song I've ever made, it's some kind of soft rock / R&B fusion that I took a LONG time to make. I originally sketched out the melodies on an acoustic guitar and singing, before taking it to the next level with some of my older studio techniques. I also went through a process of having a bridge on the song before removing it as it did not quite work out.

The lyrics were initially about losing innocence / growing up, but I realized it could be interpreted as a break-up or abandonment song as well so leaned into those double meanings.

Gracie, my college friend, contributed vocals to the final cut and really adds something special to the piece. Please listen to the different versions listed below:
